Setup Phase: Assist the Distribution Manager with the setup and organization of the new warehouse. Help establish warehouse processes, workflows, and standard operating procedures. Participate in the installation and configuration of warehouse management systems (WMS). Coordinate the initial receipt, storage, and organization of inventory. Support the recruitment, onboarding, and training of warehouse staff. Operational Phase: Leadership: Lead, train, and mentor warehouse staff to ensure productivity and adherence to company policies and procedures. Assign and delegate tasks to warehouse team members, ensuring timely and accurate completion. Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and performance feedback. Operations: Oversee the receiving, storage, and distribution of lighting products, ensuring accuracy and quality. Implement and maintain efficient warehouse processes and workflows to optimize space and productivity. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to manage stock and reorder supplies as needed. Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits, addressing any issues or hazards promptly. Promote a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement among warehouse staff. Quality Control: Ensure the accuracy and quality of all incoming and outgoing shipments. Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to orders, shipments, or inventory. Implement quality control measures and conduct regular audits to maintain high standards. Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and warehouse activities. Prepare and submit regular reports on warehouse performance, including key metrics and improvement recommendations. Utilize warehouse management software and tools to track and manage inventory and operations. Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in logistics, supply chain management, or related fields is a plus
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or lead role
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control processes
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications
• Forklift certification is preferred
